About the Website and the Organiser

The website www.indiasustainabilityexpo.biz (the “Website”) is owned and operated by Water Today Pvt. Ltd. (“Water Today”, “we”, “us” or “our”). India Sustainability Expo is a division of Water Today Pvt. Ltd. and is referred to in these Terms as the “Expo”. The Website provides information about the Expo, including its exhibitions, conferences, programmes, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, visitor information and related activities.

In these Terms, “you” or “your” means any person who accesses or uses the Website, including a visitor, exhibitor, sponsor, delegate, speaker, representative or other user.

Acceptance and Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to your access to and use of the Website and the information and features made available through it. They do not, by themselves, constitute an exhibitor contract, sponsorship agreement, ticketing agreement, delegate agreement or other commercial agreement. Where you register for, book, exhibit at, sponsor, speak at or otherwise participate in an Expo event, additional terms, forms, rules or agreements may apply. If those specific terms conflict with these Website Terms, the specific event or commercial agreement will govern the relevant participation or transaction.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Permitted Use of the Website

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will not:

  • use the Website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers, systems, databases or networks;
  • interfere with, disrupt, damage or impair the operation, security or availability of the Website;
  • introduce viruses, malware, malicious code or other harmful material;
  • use automated tools, scraping, harvesting or similar methods to extract Website content or user information without our prior written permission;
  • submit information that is false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, abusive, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, affiliation or authority; or
  • use the Website or its content to compete unfairly with, misrepresent or cause harm to Water Today, the Expo or any other person.

  • We may restrict, suspend or block access to the Website where we reasonably believe that a user has breached these Terms, compromised Website security or used the Website unlawfully.

    Website Information and Event Details
    We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website information accurate and current. However, event dates, venues, timings, programmes, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, product displays and other details may change. Information may also be updated, corrected, withdrawn or supplemented without prior notice. Website content is provided for general information. It should not be treated as a binding confirmation of an exhibitor booking, sponsorship, speaking opportunity, delegate registration, commercial arrangement or other commitment unless we have issued a written confirmation or entered into a separate agreement.

    Any figures, forecasts, visitor or exhibitor estimates, programme descriptions and promotional statements are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise. Actual participation, attendance, business outcomes and event results may differ.

    Registration, Enquiries and Submissions
    Where the Website allows you to submit an enquiry, register interest, apply to participate or provide contact details, you agree to provide information that is accurate, complete and current. You are responsible for updating information that becomes inaccurate.

    Submitting an enquiry, application or registration form does not automatically create a contract or guarantee acceptance, admission, allocation of space, a speaking slot or participation in an event. Any acceptance or confirmation is subject to our review, availability, applicable payment requirements and any separate terms communicated to you.

    You are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to provide the information and contact details of any person whose details you submit. Do not submit another person’s personal information unless you are authorised to do so and have provided any notice or obtained any consent required by law.

    Exhibitors, Sponsors, Speakers and Delegates
    Participation as an exhibitor, sponsor, speaker, delegate, partner or visitor may be subject to separate application procedures, eligibility criteria, fees, payment schedules, cancellation terms, event regulations and written agreements. Those specific requirements will apply in addition to these Website Terms.

    No space allocation, sponsorship benefit, speaking opportunity, listing, badge, pass or other event entitlement is confirmed unless and until it is expressly confirmed by Water Today or the Expo in writing and any applicable conditions have been met.

    Exhibitors and sponsors are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their own company details, product descriptions, claims, advertisements, demonstrations and materials. They must ensure their products, equipment, displays, and activities comply with applicable laws, licenses, standards, and event-specific safety requirements. The Expo’s inclusion of an exhibitor, sponsor, speaker or product on the Website or in event materials does not amount to a certification, guarantee or endorsement of that party or its products.

    The Expo may determine or revise event layouts, schedules, participation arrangements and operational requirements where reasonably necessary for event management, safety, regulatory compliance or other legitimate operational reasons, subject to any applicable written agreement and law.

    Payments, Fees and Refunds
    Where fees or payments are applicable, the amount, taxes, payment method, due dates, cancellation charges and refund conditions will be communicated through the relevant booking process, invoice, registration terms or separate agreement. These Website Terms do not create a general right to a refund or cancellation.

    You are responsible for ensuring that payment details and transaction information submitted by you are accurate. Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers and may be subject to their terms, security procedures and charges. We do not control third-party payment systems and are not responsible for service interruptions attributable to them, subject to applicable law.

    Event Changes, Postponement or Cancellation
    The Expo may modify an event’s dates, venue, format, timings, programme, speakers, exhibitors or other arrangements, or postpone or cancel an event, where required by operational, commercial, safety, regulatory, public health, venue-related or other circumstances. We will endeavour to communicate material changes through appropriate channels.

    The consequences of a change, postponement or cancellation for registrations, exhibitor bookings, sponsorships or payments will be governed by the applicable event-specific terms or written agreement and applicable law. Nothing in this clause excludes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

    Intellectual Property and Copyright
    Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its content—including text, articles, photographs, graphics, logos, illustrations, designs, page layouts, videos, downloads, event branding and other materials—are owned by Water Today, the Expo or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

    You may view the Website and download or print reasonable extracts for your personal, non-commercial and informational use, provided that you do not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices. You must not, without our prior written permission:

    • reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from Website content;
    • use Website content for commercial purposes or for publication on another website, platform or database;
    • use any logo, trade name, event identity or other brand asset in a way that suggests affiliation, approval or endorsement; or
    • frame, mirror, systematically copy or commercially exploit any part of the Website.

    All third-party names, logos and trademarks appearing on the Website remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification or informational purposes. Their appearance does not imply endorsement or partnership unless expressly stated.

    Content and Materials Submitted by Users
    If you submit text, images, logos, profiles, product information, presentations, comments or other materials through the Website, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit them and that their use for the purpose for which they are provided will not infringe any third-party rights or violate applicable law.

    You retain ownership of materials you submit. You grant Water Today and the Expo a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to receive, host, reproduce, display, format and use those materials to process your enquiry or application and to administer, promote or communicate about the relevant Expo activity, in each case in accordance with the purpose for which the materials were supplied, any separate agreement and our Privacy Policy. This permission does not transfer ownership to us.

    We may decline, remove or request changes to material that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, inaccurate or inconsistent with the purpose or standards of the Website or event.

    Privacy and Personal Information

    Our collection and use of personal information through the Website is described in the India Sustainability Expo Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms. By using the Website and submitting information, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with that Privacy Policy and applicable law.

    The Privacy Policy is a separate document and forms part of the Website’s legal information. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy concerning the processing of personal information, the Privacy Policy will apply to that subject.

    Third-Party Websites, Services and Content

    The Website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, payment gateways, social media services or other resources for convenience or additional information. These third-party services are not operated or controlled by us. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the linked website, its content, products or services.

    Your use of a third-party website or service is at your own discretion and may be governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, content, policies or practices of third-party websites or services, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

    Disclaimer of Warranties

    The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from viruses or other harmful components, or that its content will be accurate, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.

    Information about technologies, products, services, sustainability claims, environmental performance or regulatory matters is provided for general information and does not constitute technical, legal, financial, investment or professional advice. You should independently verify information and obtain appropriate professional advice before relying on it or making a decision.

    References to exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, partners, products or services are not, by themselves, a recommendation, warranty or guarantee by Water Today or the Expo. Any transaction or engagement with such third parties is undertaken at your own discretion and subject to your separate arrangements with them.

    Limitation of Liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Water Today, the Expo and their directors, employees, representatives and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, data or business interruption arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Website.

    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for loss or damage arising from reliance on Website information, unauthorised access to or alteration of information, third-party websites or services, or events beyond our reasonable control.

    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other non-excludable liability. Where applicable law does not permit a particular limitation, that limitation will apply only to the extent permitted.

    Indemnity
    To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Water Today, the Expo and their directors, employees and representatives from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Website, your breach of these Terms, or materials you submit that infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law. This clause does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach of law or other conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be shifted to you.

    Website Availability and Security
    We may update, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the Website for maintenance, security, technical, operational or other reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain Website availability but do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access.

    You are responsible for using appropriate devices, software and security measures when accessing the Website. You must not attempt to bypass security measures or test the vulnerability of the Website without our prior written authorisation.

    Force Majeure
    We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation to the extent caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, government action, changes in law, labour disputes, utility or telecommunications failures, venue restrictions or failure of essential third-party services. Any event-specific consequences will be addressed under the applicable event terms or agreement and applicable law.

    Suspension and Termination of Access
    We may, acting reasonably and subject to applicable law, suspend or restrict your access to the Website where necessary to protect the Website, users, our rights or third parties, or where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. Provisions which by their nature should continue after access ends—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law—will continue to apply.

    Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory dispute-resolution process or jurisdiction prescribed by applicable law, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website.

    General Provisions
    If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure or delay in exercising any right under these Terms will not operate as a waiver of that right. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a reorganisation, merger, transfer of business or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

    These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable event-specific terms or agreements, constitute the terms governing your use of the Website. They do not override any mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.
